Jagrut Kotecha has been appointed as the new CEO of PepsiCo India.

 PepsiCo India, a prominent player in the food and beverage industry, has announced Jagrut Kotecha as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in India, succeeding Ahmed Al Sheikh. This leadership change follows Al Sheikh's new responsibilities overseeing the Middle East branch. Currently serving as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for PepsiCo in Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia (AMESA), Kotecha brings a wealth of experience to his new role.

Kotecha's journey includes a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mumbai and an MBA in marketing from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). He commenced his career in Cadbury India's sales department from 1992 to 1994 and joined PepsiCo India's sales and marketing division in 1994. Over the years, he progressed through various sales and marketing roles, eventually becoming the regional sales manager in 1997 and serving as the marketing manager for Western Snacks until 1999.

Since 2011, Kotecha has held key positions at PepsiCo, including General Manager-Country Manager Thailand (2011 to September 2016), VP-Snacks Category India Region (October 2016 to May 2019), VP Global Affordable Platforms-Foods (June 2019 to December 2019), and Senior Vice President Chief Commercial Officer—AMESA since January 2020.

While PepsiCo's market capitalization stands at around Rs 18 lakh crore, specific details about Jagrut Kotecha's net worth, reported to be in several crores, are not publicly available.
